Ms. Lori Riehl, Art Instructor

 

Ms. Riehl currently teaches Art Foundations, Photography I-II, Drawing & Painting I-III and Studio Art at Legacy High School and has been employed with Bismarck Public Schools for over 18 years. While at Horizon Middle School, she was selected as the 2004-2005, "Teacher of the Year". Prior to BPS she was the Artist and Education Services Coordinator with the ND Council on the Arts. Lori is the Legacy Art Club and National Art Honor Society Advisor.

 

Lori earned her Master of Arts degree in Education from the College of St. Catherine in 2004 and graduated from Dickinson State University in 1991 with majors in Art and Theatre Communications and a minor in Speech Communications.  

 

In her free time, Lori is a practicing artist and member of both Bismarck Downtown Artist Cooperative and Bismarck Art & Galleries Association. She photographs professionally under Lori Riehl Photography. Lori is also a registered steward of a Little Free Library.

 

Most importantly, Lori cherishes her two children, Riley and Hannah and is a proud cat mom!
